Douglas Agreda

Douglas was born in El Salvador and currently resides in Montreal, Quebec.  He has over twenty one years of experience in journalism, communications and public relations, working with different media entities. 

His involvements include:

  • Radio Broadcaster and Host in Latinoamérica Radio CKIN 106.3 FM, Montréal
  • Journalist on the website noticiascanada.com
  • Magazine Editor for “Revista America”, suggesting topics for publication on different themes, including politics, environmental and community life (political, social, entertainment and the arts).
  • Production Assistant for Festival International du Merengue de Montréal
  • Collaborator in different Spanish-language newspapers in Montreal and Toronto
  • Radio Broadcaster or 94.9 FM Radio Coco (Grupo Radial SAMIX), El Salvador

He has developed experience checking requests for permits, development or purchase of inputs, casting information for localization and recruitment, as well as anticipating and verifying production plan activities.

Douglas was a newspaper reporter for La Prensa Grafica (Grupo Dutriz), El Salvador, Head of Public Affairs and Communications for the Town Hall of Sonsonate, El Salvador, and radio broadcaster for Agape Radio 90.1 FM (AGAPE Association) in El Salvador.  He is a founding member of ONG, Montreal, Canada and has served in the Lions Club Sonsonate Norte, in El Salvador.
